Hip flexors (also known as psoas muscles) are at the center of every major movement that you make. They are an integral part of your main core, and for them to function properly they need to be strong and flexible. If not, it won’t be long before to start noticing the effects.
Stiff joints aren’t good joints, and will highly increase your choices of muscle injuries, consistent back pains, poor posture, limited range of motion, and many other issues that will affect your health adversely. Unfortunately, for as important muscle your hip flexor region is, practically no one knows about it.
While many professionals, both in the medical field and the athletics are aware of this issue, they have been hesitant to bring it up, simply because there isn’t a well-known solution. This means we’re hit with a double whammy.
In addition to the fact that many people don’t engage in exercises that specifically target their hip flexors, we have also adapted lifestyles that tend to make them weaker, tighter, and shorter. Which, you guessed it, means more pain for us.
For example, if you spend most of your time seated, at work, driving, or in front of the computer, your hip flexors won’t regularly stretch nor strengthen. Even if you hit the gym afterwards, you will still have muscle imbalances (usually exhibited by a bad posture and walking style), which make it difficult to reach your psoas muscles using normal exercises.
To put it simply, if you want to avoid back pain, keep your muscles healthy (all over the body), and not break your back hunching over all the time, it’s really important to start doing exercises that strengthen and stretch your hip flexors.
Not convinced these are good enough reasons yet?
Here are more:
• Better performance during work outs: weak hip flexors usually contribute to slower movements of muscles, which in turn limits how much you can do when working out. Stronger psoas do the exact opposite – enhance the performance of your muscles during your gym time. This means you’ll get faster results without having to take more time out of your busy schedule.
• Increased range of motion: the slow and limited movement of muscles (caused by weak hip flexors) will make it very hard for you to manipulate your body’s motions. But you can change that by simply loosening your main core muscles, which happens when you exercise your hip flexors.
• Better support: when your hip flexors are strong and flexible they will offer better support for your skeletal structure, particularly your spine. That is a sure way of treating recurrent or consistent back pain. It will also help improve your posture and overall balance.
It may almost too good to be true, but the message is really simple. Your body wants you to keep it healthy and agile, so it can move about in the way it’s designed to do so. When you don’t so this, your body tells you something is wrong, usually with pain.
To avoid this, simply stretch your hip flexors regularly. One of the best ways to exercise your psoas is using the ‘Unlock Your Hip Flexors’ program. This simple-to-follow program includes a step-by-step guide on how to target your hip flexors when working out. It also contains specific exercises that target your hip flexors specifically.
It’s simple, quick, and easy. Do yourself a favor and start now because the damage is irreversible.
Those with stretch marks will know just how frustrating and depressing they can make you. They have a big impact on how you look and this in turn can impact your self esteem and leave you searching for solutions. Stretch marks are affecting more and more people as we lead unhealthy lives that involve fast weight gain and less exercise. Pregnancy, weight lighting and rapid weight gain can all cause stretch marks, not to mention growth spurts in children.
Stretch marks are caused when your skin undergoes strain. As your body grows, often naturally, your skin tries to keep up but just isn’t able to. To compensate it stretches and this damages the proteins and blood vessels. These damaged blood vessels become visible through the skin which has stretched. This is what gives the scar like appearance and bumpy texture on the affected area.
Tens of thousands of people search for a cure every year and with the demand there comes a supply. Skincare specialists have all created their version of a treatment for stretch marks and while there are no cures there are a lot of pretty decent treatments which can have a real impact. CeraVe intensive stretch mark cream is one of these.
CeraVe Stretch Mark Cream
CeraVe stretch mark cream markets itself both as a preventative measure and a treatment for those with existing stretch marks. It’s a new brand that has exploded onto the scene and has suddenly become of the most popular and talked about names in the industry.
The cream is made with a unique formula that is specially designed to help with any stretch marks and prevent more in the future. It works by combining ceramides, hyaluronic acid and argon oil, all of which are known to have benefits on the skin. The cream encourages the creation of new skin cells, which helps repair the area and tighten the skin. It also works by making the skin more durable and resilient, less prone to stretch marks in the future.
CerVe is getting a lot of mixed reviews online about its effectiveness. It seems to work as an effective moisturizer which has some benefit to the overall health of your skin, but is perhaps not as effective at treating stretch marks as it might seem. That being said it is affordable and pretty good value for a stretch mark cream.
CeraVe is readily available in stores and through online retailers like Amazon. Learn more about CeraVe by checking out the full CeraVe Stretch Mark Cream Review.
Virtually every first-time parent believes that it will be simple to find appropriate clothing for their baby. After all, baby clothing stores are in every mall, every outlet center, in all shapes and sizes. Right?. The truth is, shopping for baby clothing isn’t simple at all. This article will discuss a few of the difficulties that most new parents do not expect.
Chief among those is finding the right size for your child. Every manufacturer has its interpretation of what different sizes mean. There’s no real standardization from one brand to another. And because many of them are produced in remote areas of the world, very few manufacturers have any interest in creating uniform guidelines. So, your six month old child could wear something that one closing brand deems appropriate for a nine month old, or maybe even a one-year-old baby. It sometimes makes you wonder if these manufacturers are using a local bias to adjust for the size of babies in whatever country they are located. For that reason, don’t be too eager to buy multiple items from any one company. Especially until you have some sense of whether or not their close run extra small or extra-large.
They also need to realize that their baby may not be the same size as the average baby in their country at their age. This is further complicated if the baby is born premature. All bets are off when manufacturers try to serve this market. There is a market for preemie baby onesies, but there’s very little standard sizing and the baby can’t always be with you when you are shopping.
And premature babies typically experience a hyper growth phase some weeks after they are born, and so clothes bought one week could certainly be too small just seven or 10 days later. This means they will quickly outgrow the early stage clothes the parents have bought for them. Because of this, experience parents shop for clothes that are a bit larger than what their baby needs at that time. This way, they can be confident that there will be a little extra time for the baby to grow into their new outfits. And it can save a lot of money versus trying to buy new outfits every time the baby gains a few ounces.
So, inexperienced parents will learn these things the hard way. Pretty soon, they’ll be ordering just one or two outfits at a time from each brand or manufacturer. This will help alleviate some of these issues. Buying the right size of clothing for a new baby may be tough, but it can be alto easier, if parents simply use some of these tips.
