It seems that time pass by so quickly and we hardly notice that another year is almost over. Next week we are going to celebrate Thanksgiving at home together with our close relatives. Someone gave us a turkey and Vlad volunteered to cook the birdie.
Christmas is just around the corner. You will notice that everybody is now busy preparing his or her Christmas gift checklist. Our neighbors have started displaying Christmas ornaments at their house. I went to the mall yesterday and I saw Christmas decors all over the place. You can really feel the spirit of Christmas everywhere. If you turn on the radio, you will hear Christmas songs. Last year, my hubby and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate Christmas. We are planning to visit Branson, Missouri to spend our holiday season with the family and some close relatives. We have been there last year, but it was summer time. The place is absolutely beautiful and interesting. There is so much to see and do in Branson. They have a world-class theme park, amusement centers, live shows, dazzling nightlife, shopping malls, cruise, helicopter ride etc. This time it would be great to have vacation and experience winter in Branson. I wonder what outdoor activities they offer during wintertime. My hubby loves go fishing in Lake Taneycomo where we usually caught large number of bass and trout fish. We think of staying there for four days at Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing or Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. We chose Hilton hotels because they have the great amenities and the staffs are very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is also situated within the place where we want to visit and we can see the awesome view of Lake Taneycomo from our hotel. I will book their holiday package called Santa’s Coming to Town Package, starting at $189 per night, from Friday thru Sunday Nov 15 thru Dec 23. The package includes Story Time with Mr. Claus in the lobby of the Hilton Branson Convention Center hotel and Santa will give away presents, cookies and milk. My family would like to watch events they have like the 2009 Christmas Light Tours, White Flight at the Butterfly Palace, Ozark Mountain Christmas and Branson Area Festival of Lights. I am sure my family will definitely enjoy this winter vacation in Branson, Missouri.
