I cannot believe it's only nine days to go before Christmas. I am pretty much excited of this coming holiday because this is going to be the first Christmas of my baby Josh. He will be two months old on December 20. We are planning to celebrate Christmas at home but I thought it would be good to embrace a winter holiday in Branson, Missouri. My family has been there before but it was summer time. We only stayed there for three days but we really had fun. The kids enjoyed the amusement centers and theme park, which they said the one of the best theme park in the world. While me and my hubby enjoyed fishing at Lake Taneycomo where we caught different kinds of fish like trout, bass, crappie, catfish and blue gills. You will never get bored if you visit Branson because they have so much to offer. Day and night, there are plenty of things to do. During the day, experience there outdoor adventures like hiking, climbing, scuba diving, boating, biking etc. While at night enjoy the live shows, shopping in the mall and various of restaurant. I am not sure what outdoor activities they are offering if it is winter season but I know it is going to be fun and exciting as the summer season. The last time we went there we stayed at Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel and the staffs are very amiable and helpful. They have the great services and amenities. Maybe we are going to try the other Hilton hotel, which is the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. They are offering special hotel packages like the “It’s a Wonderful Life”, starting at $329 per night running from Nov 15 through December 23, 2009. The package includes a Branson Landing passport loaded with discounts at dozens of bazaars and restaurants along with a treatment at Aspire Medical Spa. If you like your little ones enjoy Story Time with Mrs. Claus and Santa himself will deliver presents, cookies and milk to guest rooms, get the “Santa’s Coming to Town Package”, which starts at $189 per night. Make sure not to miss the Branson Area Festival of Lights where all Branson aglow for the holidays.
