We just came home from Josh’s check-up. He had his second Hep B shot today. After 4 weeks we will need to go back again for another shot. Christmas is really just around the corner. While in the car I saw Christmas decors in the streets and Christmas songs being played on the radio. I am so excited because it is going to be the first Christmas experience for my baby Josh. Happy Thanksgiving !

This is my first time to celebrate Thanksgiving with my Baby Josh. Last night we had Pre-Thanksgiving at home with the Fajordos and Centeno family. So, we have decided to celebrate it early because Vlad will have work tonight. Vlad and Jed cooked the food. They prepared spaghetti, cranberry sauce, spaghetti, brownies, rice krispies treats, mashed potatoes, apple cinnamon pie etc. Mrs V brought pancit while Oyet bought wine. It was great dinner because was there and we had good conversation aside from appetizing food that we have.

Christmas time

It will be Thanksgiving next week. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth of November in the US, while in Canada it is the second Monday of October. It is also called secular day, where traditionally it is the time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude. For sure everyone has a checklist of what to prepare on Thanksgiving Day. Our friend Mavic invited us to celebrate at their place. The celebration will be lunchtime. The Fajardos family and Centeno family are going to join the gathering. Vlad said he would cook the turkey that we got free from the casino. We already bought the ingredients and stuffing when we went to Valle Produce yesterday. My hubby’s brother also invited us for Thanksgiving. He said it would Filipino theme, which means they will have “lechon” or pig roast. Diane also sent us an email reminding us about the party. Probably we will go there after lunchtime.

After Thanksgiving, we have another holiday to celebrate and it is my favorite holiday of the year. Christmas is the time we commemorate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. We went to the mall the other day and you can notice Christmas ornaments all over the place. If you turn on the radio, you will hear Christmas songs being played. Winter Vacation in Branson Missouri

I wonder what outdoor activities they offer during wintertime. My hubby loves go fishing in Lake Taneycomo where we usually caught large number of bass and trout fish. We think of staying there for four days at Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing or Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. We chose Hilton hotels because they have the great amenities and the staffs are very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is also situated within the place where we want to visit and we can see the awesome view of Lake Taneycomo from our hotel.
