Do you remember your college days? I was browsing my friends multiply Website the other day and I saw our old college days pictures. It reminds me my joyful and happy go lucky college life. After class or if we have long break before our next subject my classmates and I will go the mall to stroll, eat in the fast food or play video games. If we are not in the mall you will see us in our favorite hangout playing billiards. Though we engaged ourselves to various events or extra curricular activities in school my grades did not suffer. I do not want to have failed subjects, that is not in my vocabulary. The value of the money that I spent for tuition fee and miscellaneous plus the time of studying is not worth if you have failed or poor grades. Of course you can see me in our library doing our homework's or reading Textbooks . I seldom buy new books, usually I look for Used Textbooks For Sale to save an extra money. And I will return it after I am done with my subjects. I remember the field trip that we had in Baguio.The experience was truly unforgettable and we were so as happy as a clam. I am look forward to our class reunion which will happens next year.

snowstorm

We woke this morning early from our usual wake up time because we have to shovel and clear the eight inches snow covering our driveway. I used the snow blower while hubby just used the shovel. We removed the snow pile off from the driveway and walkway then we applied rock salt all over the cleared area to avoid icing. Sometimes we think of just moving to other state where they're not much snow. For the past weeks we are experiencing heavy snow and my family can no longer bear the coldness of the snow. On my first year here in the USA I was so excited when winter comes because I like seeing snow all over our place. It is like white sand in the ocean and it looks so beautiful to me. I felt so young again enjoying and playing the snow. But after couple months my enjoyment turned to displeasure. After the snowfall you have shovel the snow or else you wont be able to walk or it will become ice and it would be more difficult to clean up. Snow is just nice to see but it is burden for you have so much work to do. Yesterday my mom called us using her International Phone Cards check if we are fine. They heard and saw from the news how US recently affected by snowstorm or blizzard. I told them that we are fine except that we were shoveling almost everyday. The other day I asked my husband to buy meCalling Cards or Phone Cards that I could call my favorite aunt who celebrated her birthday last week.

This is so cool. I really like it. The Glee made their own version of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. It actually features of Glee's favorite moments. The Glee show won awards as People's Choice Award for Best New Comedy and Golden Globe winner for Best Television Series Comedy. Since we are still waiting for the return of return of GLEE on April 13, 2010, watch the video coz it is so awesome.

Chicken recipe

I saw this chicken recipe from Food Nertwork and it is called Chicken Georgia. This what we had last night and i so love the mushroom and mozarella cheese.the chicken cooked in butter taste so good. try it and you will love it!



Chicken Georgia

Ingredients

* 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter
* 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
* 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
* 2 tablespoons minced shallots
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 4 ounces grated mozzarella cheese

Directions

Melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and shallots and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook 10 minutes. Add chicken and cook 10 minutes on each side, or until tender. Transfer chicken to platter and sprinkle with grated cheese. Top with mushroom mixture. Cook and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

When I need to do some household chores, i will just put my baby josh to his bouncer baby gear. As long as he sees me around he will not cry and he will just play with his toys. Even he is watching TV I will just put him on the baby bouncer until he fall asleep. By the way his favorite cartoon character is SpongeBob Squarepants and Patrick Star. He makes a soft murmuring sound every time he sees SpongeBob. He also like the vibrator of the baby bouncer.

When I Met U movie

When I Met U is the second movie of Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion after For the First Time. The budget of this movie was about PHP 35.3 million and it has gross revenue of PHP 60 million. My hubby and I watched it last night and even though the movie is predictable and sometimes corny we had a good laugh. It reminds me how I missed my country. Netflix has over 100,000 DVD titles and they are offering Tagalog movies too. For 8.99 a month you can watch movies as you want. Now, we are just waiting for John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo movie, "One More Chance".


Plot:
Jenny(KC Conception) is an unpretentious mall promodizer searching for true love. A hopeless romantic, her quest leads her to Benjie, a cargo pilot who offers her the love she truly yearns. An unlikely romance begins when she hitches a ride with Benjie(Richard Gutierrez) to attend a wedding in Palawan . Bath and Body Works Shopping

Yesterday, my hubby and I went to the mall to buy stuffs that we are going to send to the Philippines. We are going to send two balikbayan box: one for Junia and one for my family. We are using Aerosend cargo because it is cheaper than Forex. We only have to pay $55 unlike Forex cargo they charge $80 per box. First we went to Sams Club to buy chocolates, vitamins, cetaphil, shampoo, soap and other goods. My sister requested for baby things like clothes and shoes so I went to Target and Carters to buy her things. As you can see I am sending Bath and Body Works body lotion and fragrance mist for my family and relatives. My favorite fragrance are Sweet Pea and Wild Honey Suckle. I only buy if they are on sale. After shopping we went to Panera to have snacks.
